It’s been ten years since Andrew W.K.’s debut album “I Get Wet” hit store shelves across the world. One of the landmark “party albums” of the new millennium, Andrew’s fun and positive lyrics quickly garnered the attention of both high school and college students and of television executives alike. Andrew was soon featured in a music video for the Jackass: The Movie soundtrack and was even granted a guest spot on the television show Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
As a way to celebrate the decade-release of “I Get Wet” and also to thank his fans for their support, Andrew has announced that he will be headlining his first tour in nearly seven years.
Toted as the “I Get Wet Tour”, Andrew will be performing the entire “I Get Wet” album from start to finish for every night of the tour. Andrew will travel to major cities throughout America from February 27th, 2012 through April 07th, 2012, at which point he will be taking his “I Get Wet Tour” to multiple locations in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
The closest location to Louisville, KY will be Andrew’s Atlanta, GA stop on Thursday, April 05th.
